"Teaching arithmetic to kids at Barra 2 center on Sunday mornings is the most fulfilling part of my week. The sparkle in their eyes when they solve an equation is priceless. It completely grounded my perspective beyond campus life."

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior teaching experience to join the Nanhe Kadam track?
No prior formal teaching background is required! We pair every new volunteer with an experienced senior mentor during their first two weeks, and furnish standardized, illustrated lesson cards in basic Hindi and elementary maths.
Will I receive an official verified certificate for college or job credentials?
Yes, absolutely. Sanjeevani Welfare Foundation is a registered public trust with NITI Aayog NGO Darpan registration. Upon completing 24 tracked volunteer hours (roughly 10-12 weekend sessions), you receive an officially signed certificate and customized letter of endorsement from our Board of Trustees.
Can I volunteer for structured short-term internships during semester breaks?
Yes! We run full-time and part-time summer/winter civic internships lasting 4 to 12 weeks for university students in Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Journalism, and Management across Kanpur. Select your interest in the registration form and specify your break dates.
Where are the centers located and how will I reach them?
Our central office and warehouse is at Gautam Market, Barra 2 Main Road (near Barra World Bank), extremely accessible by auto and tempo routes from Govind Nagar, Kidwai Nagar, and Rawatpur. We connect volunteers living in nearby neighborhoods for easy carpooling.
